Feachtas dlúthpháirtíochta chun busanna a bhronnadh

Tá an Coimisiún ag iarraidh ar eintitis phoiblí agus phríobháideacha san Aontas agus níos faide i gcéin teacht le chéile agus dlúthpháirtíocht a léiriú trí bhusanna a bhronnadh sna míonna amach romhainn, ar busanna iad atá riachtanach chun páistí na hÚcráine a thabhairt ar ais go dtí a scoileanna go sábháilte.

Is féidir le deontóirí féideartha é sin a dhéanamh trí Shásra an Aontais um Chosaint Shibhialta (UCPM), sásra ar baineadh úsáid chriticiúil as cheana féin chun tacaíocht ríthábhachtach a chur ar fáil don Úcráin agus dá muintir, dídean, bia, trealamh ospidéil, otharchairr, innill dóiteáin agus go leor eile ina measc.

This cruel war has robbed thousands of Ukrainian children of their innocence and childhood. But it will not deprive them of the bright and happy future they deserve. That's why I am happy that we can help bringing Ukrainian children safely to school. The donation of more than 370 school buses by the Commission and Member States demonstrates our joint commitment to the next generations of Ukrainians.

Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission

Last year, during a visit to the European Parliament, I discussed this with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. And now Ukrainian communities are receiving more than 370 buses. This is a great display of solidarity. This is a path towards our children's future - theirs and the entire country's, in the midst of war. This is what school buses mean, this is why they are important.

Olena Zelenska, First lady of Ukraine

Tacaíocht leanúnach ón Aontas

Tá an Eoraip ag tacú leis an Úcráin ó thús ionsaí gan údar na Rúise. D’oscail muintir na hEorpa a gcroíthe agus a ndoirse do bhreis ag 8 milliún Úcránach a theith ó bhuamaí Putin, breis agus 4 mhilliún Úcránach ina measc a d’iarr cosaint shealadach i mBallstáit an Aontais. Chuir scoileanna na hEorpa fáilte roimh na céadta mílte páistí Úcránach. In ainneoin an scriosta agus na n-íobairtí, tá muintir na hÚcráine ag féachaint chun cinn le muinín agus le dóchas. Agus tosaíonn an todhchaí sin le cinnte a dhéanamh de go bhfuil scoileanna ar oscailt agus gur féidir le páistí iad a rochtain.
